The Michigan State Convention is a combined effort between Areas 32, 33 & 34. It is a state-wide convention with AA, Al-Anon & Al-Ateen activities, i.e. - Open Speakers, Topic Panels, Alkathons, Dinner Banquet, Dance, etc.

The East Central Regional Convention rotates within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Like the Michigan State Convention, there will be AA, Al-Anon & Al-Ateen activities, i.e. - Open Speakers, Topic Panels, Alkathons, Dinner Banquet, Dance, but it also features keynote speakers from our General Service Office, A.A.W.S. and/or Grapevine.

The Conventions Committee Meeting will be determined a few months before the conventions committee begins planning the next convention. Area 33 will be hosting the Michigan State Convention in 2013.
