	Area coordinator files inmate info and forwards it to outside volunteer		Outside volunteer forwards their info to area coordinator

		Outside volunteer writes to inmate via Area P.O.box

· The area coordinator contacts volunteers by phone or by letter.

· Volunteer information is never relayed to the residents of a correctional facility.

· Volunteers write to their inmate and introduce themselves as the pre-release contact.

· Outside volunteers who no longer wish to participate should notify the appropriate area coordinator so that we can keep our files current.
