Area 33 - General Services of Southeast Michigan

Standing General Service Committees Updated 05/28/07
Area 33 has fourteen standing committees including the area officers which serve as a steering committee for the area and the district committee members (DCMs) which serve as a steering committee for the districts. A chairperson is elected to preside over each. Any A.A. member may serve on a standing committee.
If you are interested in A.A.'s General Service Work, see about joining one of our Area Committees. It's a great way to help carry the A.A. message.

WEB SITE COMMITTEE

While many AA web sites are simply a public information vehicle and are maintained by their Public Information Committees, our site is also intended as a service tool for the area. Due to the broadened scope of our site, we felt it necessary to form a standing committee to maintain and administer the web site. The Web Site Committee shall ideally consist of a Chairperson; a Co-Chairperson; a District Information Coordinator; a Committee Information Coordinator; a Feature Page Editor; a Secretary and also enlist the help of any AA members within the area who have specific knowledge of web site development and implementation. Interested members should attend the next Area Assembly or Web Site Committee meetings. Check the calendar of events for meeting dates & times.

You can leave us a message on this Web Site's message page or write to Area 33 at General Services of S.E. Michigan, P.O. Box 2843 Southfield, MI 48037.
