Posting Policy for Calendar of Events

     It is the intent of the Website Committee to leave the appropriateness of the material submitted for the Website up to the group conscience of the groups, districts and committees submitting the material. However, when considering material, please adhere to A.A.'s 12-Traditions and 12-Concepts, as well as, guidance provided in the current A.A. Service Manual.

     The Website Committee Chairperson is responsible for making sure that no objectionable material is published. Please refrain from using last names of individuals or e-mail addresses containing individual's last names at all times. Phone numbers are OK, however the submitter needs to be aware the number will be searchable on the internet. All information that is posted on this site is searchable by anyone. Please keep that in mind when submitting flyers.

     Remember please, we must always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films: "an A.A. Web Site is a public medium with the potential for reaching the broadest possible audience and therefore, requires the same safeguards we use at the level of press, radio and film." -Box 4-5-9, 2004.
